My Mum never got over the loss of my Aunt her Sister who wasn't protected, when that rotten shower in Downing street said the elderly were in care homes, which was a whole pack of lies.
My Mum never saw her sister as she was ill, as she was dying and because we were then in a different area, we weren't allowed to travel to even go to her funeral.
Absolutely despicable.

Governments lie, it's not right, but it's always been true and always will be true. What I couldn't stomach in this particular case is that the public knew they were lying, and they just carried on. They then added insult to injury by personally feathering their own nests and making themselves rich. Labour at the time said it was disgusting and that they would never do that. 1 year into a labour government and they are doing exactly the same. Lying and feathering their own nests. Is it any surprise the public are completely disillusioned by those that represent us in politics.
