People who start a slightly controversial sentence with "I'm sorry, but..." because they're not sorry at all.

Brits who use Americanisms to make themselves seem cool but just end up looking like Brits who desperately want to be Americans.

People who insist they're just honest and speaking their mind, when in fact they're rude and don't have the intelligence to use a little tact.

- people who think they know everything about a certain topic (especially something you yourself have a keen interest in) but actually know nothing and everything they've said about it has been wrong.

- glory hunters (yes DDRickyDD i'm talking about you)

- people who call you 'darling' or 'love' etc whilst having a disagreement with that person to patronize you
