Just added a bit..

For my facebook. To annoy my leftie pals.

So the bloke given the keys or a pass or whatever to downing street is keirs starmers stylist by the sounds of it, free suits, free specs. And he chose that look, the look of penfold(search cartoon penfolds personality bio) this man is beyond comprehension, picking on concerned brits, concerned about 1 off the top 3 concerns the uk is facing right now. Yet all he can do is suckle the teet of his stylist whilst looking like a sorry Sunday morning bottom that's weeping the remains of the night before shenanigans.

God.
He really is stomach turning.
He did not expect 22 million black hole, rubbish ,they knew what was coming.
All the high pay rises to appease their union paymasters doesn’t help.
Taking the money from pensioners and disabled is disgusting.

All the tory figures were in the public domain so he is talking bollox. We knew they would say this in order to increase taxes and reduce the benefits of those in need

[Starmer said that he will stick to his
general election campaign pledge that
he will not increase income tax,
VAT or national insurance on
“working people”.
He said that spending cuts and tax rises
are not the only levers the Treasury
has at its disposal.

The prime minister stressed that his
government will focus on growing
the economy, and says fixing the
transport system and the NHS will both help this.
He acknowledged, though, that he will
have to take “tough decisions”
to plug the black hole left by the
Tories but did not specify what these
decisions will be.

Starmer was asked specifically if spending cuts
are being considered. The prime minister said
he won’t “pre-empt the chancellor” in
relation to the 30 October budget.
There is speculation there could be
wealth taxes, pension tax riads
and a crack down
on non-doms in the budget.]

[PM: 'I can't build a prison by
Saturday'published at 10:39AM

Can you guarantee early-released prisoners
won't commit crime, Starmer is asked by
Channel 4 News.

He responds saying the last government
pretended that you could have
"longer and longer sentences",
while not building more prison spaces.

"Here we are without the prison paces
we need," Starmer says.

One of the main ways the government
had to deal with the disorder during
recent riots was making sure offenders
were facing the "full force of the law".

Opening up prison space will take
time, he adds, saying:
"I can't build a prison by Saturday".]

I am already very tired of hearing about the legacy they have been left, after 14 years in opposition they should be well aware of the state of the country? Now get on with the job and stop harking back to 14 years of mis management this has come as a surprise to no one outside of government, not sure why they are so startled by it all

i can see labour being thrown out at the next election. If they raise tax and/or reduce benefits, they will be toast. One of their plans is to raid pensions
