Didn't DTC tell someone who complained about the long story lines that 'its called a long running drama for a reason'? I guess that's okay but literally every plot drags and drags, there could be some plots which run for about 6 weeks and then conclude to mix it up.

I think Kathy is exactly how the Lucy storyline will be resolved.

The Beales and Mitchell's will be brought together by her and they'll all agree to protect Bobby and Gavin will go down for her murder leaving Kathy free to return home.

No. Phil gave them to the police which led to Ben's arrest.

Les...is still lying to Pam. (For what it's worth, I think Les is ill or something)
And we still basically know **** all about what the hell is going on with Kathy!!!!!

In the meantime, we still don't have a clue what Stacy's key unlocks, a story that started nearly 2 years ago, Libby has turned up with some other secret and then ****ed off again, whatever the hell went on in Margate or wherever it was with the Carters, Lee's depression, Nancy fitting more frequently... The list goes on.

Like it's not like there's actually any duff stories going on at the minute, all of them have potential but they better have worthwhile payoffs because the dragging out of them is getting insane. You can't reveal everything at Xmas, New Years and a random date in February. At this rate, Ben and Paul won't get found out till next year, claudette's vendetta against Phil won't be revealed till about 2035 and Bobby will get discovered when he's Ian's age

There is a lot of block storytelling going on lately, Ronnie and Roxy appear and disappear like the wind and The Carters are forced down our throats then vanish a while and rinse/repeat, same with Masoods and Stacey/Kush.

Yeah, EastEnders has been very bad this year. It seems they've got a beginning and an end to each storyline, but everything in between is just a pile of mush.

I wouldn't say Eastenders has been necessarily bad this year, I still think it's the best soap in terms of quality and there have been more spoiler free moments that have been just amazing, I just think it's being a little too comfortable with it's plot movement. Corrie is still beating it in terms of ratings by a far margin (not that it deserves to).

Yeah I agree. Like that Dean rape plot is still ongoing as far as I'm concerned. He will have to have comeuppance at some stage.

Apparently it was meant to end sooner bc Matt Di Angelo only came back temporary but now he's extended his contracted and a full regular so I guess that's why they abandoned a comeuppance for him.

I don't think he is getting a comeuppance anymore, DTC said that it's realistic for him to go unpunished.

Oh I see. Well that would explain why he disappeared for that length of time. Thanks for that I wouldn't have known otherwise.
