That game was originally gonna be released this summer as well but they moved it back to November cos it wasnt good enough yet, is annoying that all cricket video games are so bad lol, even the decent ones have loads wrong with them

probably no one takes a cricket game on now because the core audience probably don't play video games and the market for it would be too small outside the short period that the ashes take place, I suppose it could do well in India if it was named after Tendulkar or something

Think there'd be potential for a game more focused on twenty20 cricket as well, like an IPL video game but could also include all the other T20 leagues as well

Though I suppose if people were gonna buy that they'd want to be able to play other formats as well, but wouldn't have thought that'd be too tricky

You could simulate overs or whole innings, but if you played properly it's never that realistic, like with Ashes 2009 which was made by the same people you'd have them all out within a couple of hours, though I do remember trying on the early Brian Lara games as well and then I would get bored cos they would actually just block for hours when you're bowling especially if you have the difficulty higher

I think it's a kind of too technical/fiddly game to ever transfer into a video game, all the fielding and bowling aspects, you never have complete movement control over a player like you do in Football, NFL and Basketball games

Though yeah I do agree it's too fiddly really to be that good a game, even in the better ones there'd be quite a lot of errors and glitches and stuff with the fielders
