you can't spend money that isn't earned through profit (i think)

that's why City got naming rights for their stadium for more money, you can't just spend willy nilly out of your back pocket leaving the club in debt

UEFA wanted FFP rules to kick in too soon apparently for the coming seasons, so there is a limit on the money clubs like Barca, Madrid, City, Chelsea, Anzhi Makhachkala, PSG and Malaga spend etc or they will be punished if they go over the limit...

But it's basically meaning in the long run the big clubs stay rich and the small clubs stay poor, sugar daddy's can't just walk in now

Ah right :/ think it is sometimes necessary to do what we've done though, try and keep some core premier league players so that we can get straight back up again and try and make sure we stay there

There will always be a gap in terms of money teams have or are worth, no matter how UEFA etc can try and say they have tried to curb it.
