When Chelsea won the CL, a huge crack formed in Spurs foundation, I reckon they'll hang on to VDV and Bale for one more season, but unless they get CL next year they're back to mid table mediocrity.

Spurs will kick themselves at the fact that they messed up that big lead. It was the draw vs Villa that put the final nail in the coffin for their 4th place bid.

I think that Spurs did not expect Villa to put up a fight that day and were surprised at Villa getting a draw despite being dominated overall in play.

The funniest part of the whole thing was the fact that they did enough to get CL qualification, but STILL didn't get it I laughed my ass of after the final.
