All hail the Moyesiah
|
That was the problem with all of them tonight, they got such little time and were so unable to get into any flowing debate that all they could do was get in a few sound bites before they moved onto the next leader. 7 people trying to all debate each other simply doesn't work.

There's other papers arista saying differently and no poll has David Cameron as outright winner.
The Torygraph even only highlights the poll that says the most wide margin of who won, all others have David Cameron and Ed Miliband up there in joint lead and one has Miliband the winner. This selective media presentation is boring and aslo is a turn off for voters due to their bias, and quite frankly the SUN is looking deperate now because the one person who didn't look PM material last night was the current PM David Cameron who seemed lost and wanting to kepep in the background all the time in this debate. The Sun backed a loser in Cameron in 2010 and failed to influence voters to give him an overall majority and I hope it gets egg on its face again in May. |

The Sun, I am told by my Dad has never supported Labour in an election. It swas behind personally Blair in 1997,2001 and 2005 but I don't believe Labour as a whole.
It was not behind even John Smith as Labour leader before his death which then saw Tony Blair take over. Then Mr Murdoch and the SUN decided they liked cheshire cat, smarmy,Tony Blair and supported him, not really the labour party in 3 elections, and I actually believe too had Tony Blair still been leader and PM in 2010,the Sun would probably have at least been neutral as to him again since they supported him on the Iraq issue. The moment Gordon Brown took over in 2007 the Sun started to really criticise again, and in 2009 declared its support for Cameron and the Conservatives. I have never looked at it as anything but a biased paper, just as the Mirror is to Labour too,I just get sick of supposed 'news'papers telling us how we should vote and for whom too. Especially from their biased positions. the Sun also doesn't seem to like leaders from Scotland or Wales really, so unless a leader has an English seat, that may be another prejuduced stand the Sun takes. I hate this publication with a passion, it would be in the fiction area of publications for me or even comics,(well in truth it wouldn't exist if I had my way),maybe not a comic as sadly some of the stands it takes are far from funny however. farage has a point, about spending more. how can we spend more, when we are borrowing ,and are in huge debt, he was right about the foreign aid, it needs cut, and the money we give to the eu needs cut big time,

he was the ONLY one who knew the debt and stated its doubled to a record £1.5 trillion. they've grown the economy marginally but the debt has increased. this means simply there are massive cuts coming and huge tax rises. scary times

till their is a global treaty that every country in the word treats, hiv and aids, with the free drugs, why should we be the only country in the world, that treats it free, 1 drug for treating hiv, costs 25.000 pair person, so how can we save the nhs, when trying to save the world, the nhs was not made for that reason,

I'm so conflicted, I have to say I heard some things tonight I'm not happy about tbh.
The leader of the SNP and the greens impressed me the most, and I feel so sorry for Wales it sounds like a right mare living there :/ Ed could've been more brutal, he has all the ammo he should've annihilated cameron ![]()

Most of the polling, even on voting intentions has Labour just ahead still, and also have Miliband and Cameron wherever they rank on the list of 7 leaders jut about neck and neck. One poll has Miliband,Cameron and Sturgeon on 21% each, I don't see you mentioning that poll, or the one that had Miliaband on 25% and Cameron on 24% I'd rather look at all the polls overall not just take the one I like as gospel, like the Torygraph did. As for the Sun, as I said they are just pathetically irrelevant and not worth the paper it is printed on. Because although Miliband could have done a little better, he did do better than Cameron who was just so terrified of saying anything he shouldn't let slip that he hardly interjected or said much at all. he stood there like a spare part a fair bit of the time. Hardly an act of a confident or worthy PM. Last edited by joeysteele; 03-04-2015 at 06:49 AM. |

well done to ITV and the presenter who like a good ref in a top game kept order, let the game flow and was unnoticed throughout.
