yes i feel hyped for next month, hope all delegations can make it, but they want to request a special permission for all countries by our government, also australia since they are not in eu of course, and non-eu citizen travel is forbidden but exceptions could be made of course for work related stuff and eurovision is work for artists and delegation members (tbh there have been australians in the eu for lesser important stuff recently, one actor there for some series in US had to film scenes in the balkans and italy and that was also allowed)

stage is coming together quite nicely in such a short amount of time they even work at night on the main huge LED screen

will be nervewrecking a bit with audience negative testing but 3.500 isn't too much audience at all

Gerben (head of show) was at talkshow Op1 last night

they are more and more optimistic all artists will be there in ahoy in May for the shows, only Australia not 100% sure but they are working extremely hard for them to also make it possible for their delegation to travel to ahoy


they are also working now already with the entries more because stand in rehearsals will begin very soon either (so one other factor they want australia to be there either otherwise the only live from them in ahoy is their stand in rehearsal and that would be awkward)


overall there is more optimism for the artists

*Eurovision Village will start on 15 May and is completely online. They wanted to organize it as Fieldlab events first so an audience could be there, but that will not happen'

*It is still very likely that there will be an audience - even if the number of people on the intensive care is above 900 people

*Except Australia, they expect all delegations to be there
