They do that if you don't "declare that you don't need a license" on the site, takes two minutes. If you do that, instead of the red letter, they send letters for a while thanking you for reporting that you don't need a license and saying that they "might come to check just to make sure" . Same thing with nicer wording basically. IIRC got those ever couple of months for about a year, then nothing.

But as i understand it it was the mum and stepdad who were concerned and went to the bbc and went to the sun. The boy in question was quite happy with his arrangement and never thought he was doing anything untoward and as it stands none of this has changed?

It depends when it started? and the funds are funding an addiction, they also went to the police first who said nothing to be seen here but surely that is incorrect if this started at 17?
