I didn't get the last scene with Lynsey and Silas. They got Mercedes and there was no need for Lynsey to get another meeting for him, it just didn't make sense.

The worst McQueen for mne is Carmel. When she's funny, she's friggin' hilarious, but when she's in love or going on about God she grates on me. Though sometimes I think they try too hard to make her funny, a little bit like they do with Kirk in Corrie.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that part. I do agree and think her being different causes more fun towards to rest of the family. I loved it (can't remember how long ago it was) when the McQueen's went on a shoplifting spree pretending to be pregnant and they were more worried about Carmel catching them than the store detectives. Images of them hiding behind clothes rails was brilliant.

Yeah didn't get it either, was rather random. But it was good she managed to get some more abuse in before he got sent down

Totally. I think they wanted the viewers to see this (I know I wanted it) I just struggled to work out why it was done that way.

I like that It would make her exit better than what it was. Having said that anything would have been better than her exit ...

I wondered about the chess piece, they need to make it clearer what the significance is. I like Scott's idea about him escaping in the future and going on a massacre. lol. There are always deadwood characters to be culled

Hollyoaks put in another strong performance last night, overnight data has revealed.

The search for the heavily-pregnant Mercedes pulled in 1.4m (6.5%) for Channel 4 at 6.30pm, adding a further 133k on +1.

Nearly all stayed tuned for the aftermath, as E4's first look picked up an impressive 1.14m (5.2%) at 7pm and 189k on timeshift
