Yup.
I still reckon it’s not actually Alfie who’s dead though. Too obvious.

Doesn’t mean he might not have an off-screen exit still.

Yeah but what I was saying in that post was that Alfie could escape alive if his body’s dumped just like Trevor did when Little Mo bludgeoned him with an iron (months and months before the explosion).

I'm Katie Jarvis who had enough of spending the entire episode crying in the corner and listening to Shane bloody Richie, flipping her lid and shoving him down the stairs.

What an underwhelming end for a fairly iconic character.

I was a tad disappointed that Kat's iconic "I WILL DO TIME FOR YOU!!!" line was directed at Stacey simply for finding out a few hours earlier.
Poor Stacey and Jean got more sh*t than Hayley.

Definitely not. EastEnders hasn’t gotten over 13/-14 million for a Christmas episode since 2007 and even that was a one-off.

Can’t disagree with him. I stopped losing track of yearly ratings trend since 2012. The days of guaranteed double-digits for Christmas TV are well and truly ever.

Just shows how bad Xmas schedules are.
People are more tempted by streaming now. |
