Like i have said, stating you don't like homosexuality is fine. But when people take it too far and start saying things which can be seen as offensive is not cool.

My opinion is the same on racism. Some people may not like others because of where they are from or the colour of their skin. Again that is fine, but if they start saying spiteful things, then that is not acceptable.

I agree that if you feel that homosexuality is wrong, then that does not give you the right to call anyone anything that can be deemed as offensive.


I disagree with you on the racism part. If you hate someone because of the color of their skin and because of where they are from, then that's just plain ignorance.

Ignorance yes, but everyone entitled to their feelings, you can't change that..

When, however, people share those opinions in a way that can be deemed offensive is when I disagree.

Definately. A lot of people feel being gay is unnatural, mainly through religion (which should be banished to room101, does more harm than good). And I respect this opinion totally...

There is NO reason why you should dislike someone for being a different colour.

Racisim and homophobia are totally different.

To be honest, I have no time for people who hold racist or homophobic views in general. It also irritates me when someone blames an entire community of people for an isolated incident where political correctness might have gone too far. It's like saying all women are too pushy because I had an angry debate with a militant feminist.

The homosexual gay pride movement took ownership of all or most of the offensive terms for gay long ago, queer, puff et cetra. There's no sting in them any more.

Perhaps the same teachers who refuse to say blackboard have engineered a new generation of hypersensitve young people.

Yes, this is quite annoying I must admit...gays are permitted to call each other fags, puffs etc. however if a straight person says it, it is homophobic...no matter what context it is used.
