Bon Jovi, how very random. I used to really like them when they were like a soft rock band and not just swimming in their own piss and tears, sobbing about being old, forgotton, and on the change.

boy bands tend to do well though.. they get the teenagers, middle aged and possibly the elderly "fancying them" and buying into their franchise. Girls are more of a "threat" Cheryl is so popular because a lot of girls want to be like her when they grow up! rich, famous, successful and a wag! ching!

I think JLS are a modern day Five. What is very popular now will be looked back on in 10 years time as extremely cheesy.

However, they're easily the best band that has ever come out of X Factor and they certainly CAN sing, that's a fact.

Been quite surprised with what they've done since the show, and pleased as well. It's just a shame that the majority of their fans are silly little girls who are only interested in their bodies and not their voices.

One of the reasons I dislike JLS is because of their fans. They're just a bunch of superficial teens, still bitter that Alexandra beat them. I'm not generalising all of their fans, I'm sure some are nice but the ones I've seen spam Alexandra's videos with hate comments, think JLS are music gods, talk in extreme text speech and will move on from them when the next good looking male(s) come along. JLS are extremely overrated imo.

JLS fans remind of the old Thatters,the fans back in the day. The craziness,the hysteria,the overwhelming loyalty and love. JLS are gonna go far with fans like that.

Mark, well done, you've just took the words right from my mouth, the thing I hate is that you get JLS fans commenting about Alexandra not being able to sing yet all you get from them about JLS is how "fit" they are, I'm sorry but being fit doesn't mean you are a good singer, and the first chance they got, JLS flash their abs and say they'll do nude calendars and there you go, they get a #1, Alexandra got both her #1's because of her singing ability and the fact that people LIKE the song and the singer, not what the singer looks like (not that Alexandra isn't beautiful, she is gorgeous but there's more to her than her looks like the fact that she is a star, which JLS will never be)

See this is where you go wrong. There's no denying that the majority of JLS fans are silly little girls that are pathetic when they insult Alexandra, but at the end of the day JLS can sing well and I'd say will be quite successful. Not as successful as Alexandra, but still successful.

It's one thing saying the fans are bad, but saying JLS are bad themselves is ridiculous. You're basically just doing exactly the same as what their fans are doing.
