Film 1 - The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

I sat at the computer chair and pressed play and throughout the first 3 minutes I was already drawn into the character of Andy. Her likeability and sweetness made me very fond of her and made me want to carry on watching to see how she would get on in her job. I absolutely loved the comedy used by Meryl Streep and thought she played the part amazingly. The whole scene of the office is exactly what I would expect an office like that to be like and the Runway girls were all very bitchy and it came across really well as a whole. I loved the humour put across before Andy underwent her transformation, although at times felt so sorry for her. A really great moment in the film is when she walks into the office in her new spangly clothes and with her hair straightened and face full of make-up and Emily is just gobsmacked. The plot of Andrea becoming the new Emily is very clever and I love the way that Miranda turns her bitchyness towards Emily halfway through. A very good film and I really enjoyed every second of it. The acting from Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to friends
9/10 Stars

nice review, Meryl was great in the role. Emily Blunt was fantastic as usual too.

Yeah.. she was fierce I'm trying to think of where I have seen her from though.. she looked very familiar? I think she reminds me of Judy Greer who played Lucy in "13 going on 30". That kind of bitchy office worker
