It's not legal in Ireland, and I would have thought that it should be considered a bit more than just a procedure, it is terminating a baby after all

Well technically most abortions take place when it's a foetus not a baby.

no it's not, but I mean people can just go to England if they want to get one. I'm not sure what way it effects the unwanted pregnancy rates really

That is very true, but I believe a woman should be physically, emotionally and financially stable before having a child. There are too many girls getting pregnant because of their irresponsibility.

the reason I don't find it funny has nothing to do with religion but more to do with respecting life. I have 2 kids maybe thats why I'm more sensitive about
