It a cultural thing is you look historically. Hanging and beheadings of murderers, blasphermers, a theif etc were done in front of rather radical mobs and crowds.

Time may have changed but something are inherited from generation to generation and outputted differently. Instead of an Guillotine it is a 2 sliding doors and crowd gives them a full dose of there primitive natures.

But comments like calling a whole country primitive because of a few over excited audience members, (who do get egged on to cheer and boo by the production staff). Thats not really a Scandinavian characteristic, is it?

Its actually quite racist and would get you into a lot of trouble if it was made over here about any other foreign national, except the yanks.

I was aware of that. Of course, I don't think people in England are primitive in general, except for those booing perhaps. Racist? Hardly. Odd sense of humour. Yes.

Me? Odd sense of humour?

I can assure you Marten I have no sense of humour, I lost it in a game of cards about 43 years ago in the Crimea. I believe it has changed ownership several times now, and is now in the possesion of a swede called Fredrik Reinfeldt as you are no doubt aware it was no great loss. Rather the 7 shillings in the pot was of more heartbreak to me
