a horrible grovelling apology designed to damage limit rather than being sincerely felt.

it so sums up Labour under Mandellson and Brown

He's gone and made a right balls of it, hasn't he? Look, we all have moments when we need to let off steam, but this really proves that he's incapable of handling the pressures of being a head of any party, nevermind a cabinet and State. Most seasoned campaigners would have the good sense not to open their traps immediately after something like that, particularly when a mic is still on him. Pure stupidity and a prime example of how he's not built for the stage, and let's be honest, that's what being leader is all about - acting the part.

This is why they do not want Brown
meeting General Public.

They set up special checked people - but no time on this run.

As a UnElected PM
this sums him up

And yet there are are still idiots on this forum making excuses for him, and who will probably still vote for the bumbling fool. There are even idiots on this forum who still believe the Labour party give a flying ***** for the ordinary working class folk in this country, and who believe every lie that Labour have spun about the other parties. Brown is such an embarrassment, as well as being totally incompetent, but worse of all is that the nation did not elect him as Prime Minister, so he has no damn right even calling himself that. He has cravenly clung onto power despite being the worst PM in living memory. Anyone who really cared about what happens to this country would vote the hypocritical, useless war-mongering b******s out.

Ah, now don't be using my comments as an excuse for an all out offensive on Labour; I'm just commenting on this major faux pas which really highlights Brown's degree of inexperience and idiocy when dealing with the cameras when possessing some media savvy is such a fundemental requirement for any political leader in today's age.

Unfortunately, when it comes to other people's poor political choices, I am entitled to make my views known (as are they), since the consequences of their actions could actually adversely affect me, my family and my way of life in the most fundamental ways.

Although I don't have an allegiance to any particular party or personality in this election - I do feel that your comments suggesting that anyone who doesn't see things your way is an idiot - is rather arrogant to say the least! It is exactly those sort of OTT aggressive opinions - that cause wars in the first place!

Arrogant? - Maybe.
P*ssed off at living under the Labour jackboot for 13 years? Definitely. Horrified at the prospect of another 5 years of the lunatics running the asylum? Absolutely.
Shocked by the political ignorance displayed by some on this forum? You bet.
Apologetic? Not at all.

Although I do identify with some of your points - I just feel that whatever party get in - there are unlikely to be any signifcant changes made that will hughly improve the lives of the majority of us!

I have been wondering this afternoon about Brown, Mrs Duffy and Greece.

If he really finished because of this guff, would not it be his lucky escape (from his own mess) after all?

I feel many people would think if they choose the right leader, everything will be all right, well almost, but it is not.
Cameron or Cregg, they have a huge task to clear these debt and have to cut spending sooner or later, then what would happen. Strike like Greece?

The leader will bound to be blamed not Brown.

I think people are kidding themselves if they think anything is going to change under someone else! People need to believe that to see a way forward - but there are unlikely to be any significant changes anytime soon!

I think the 'harm' to Labour is being over stated.

ITV just ran a ridiculous story on it.
