As far as I'm concerned, he deserves to win for that alone but yet theres more ..
He's shown that John isn't the 'Angry Young Man' he portrayed himself at the beginning of the show whilst also highlighting the fact that actually, John is extremely tolerant of how much crap is thrown at Josie!

On top of all of that, its forced all the other HMs to get involved in the backlash ... absolutley brilliant!

The thing is Sam IS saying what alot of people think, and only because he knows. I didnt catch all of what happened last night, but I think he has gone a bit ott too soon, and all depending on who he is up when he is (which is unevetible)

The viewing public would have a whole different opinion of him if he went in from start or say when Andrew, Keeley, Racheal...Sams personality probably would have still been full on but not to the extent it is now.

He is providing a stir and entertainment at his expense, but will he survive and gain a big enough fan base?
