ffs - this flaming forum - is going slow most of the time now - can't stand it!

The whole thing has been a big disappointment for me this year - the show itself and the slow forum! All feels very second rate!

wombai, this is a great thread, I have to say that, your points are 100% valid.
No one ever in the history of BB in the UK has had such pathetic punishments for persistent rule breaking as JJames and Josie,neither has any BB series given so much time to only 2 housemates as these 2 actors, and very poor ones at that, have had.
As you say its disgrace.

Isn't it strange that just after I complain about the forum running slow - I got an infraction under the pretence of insulting another member this morning! I'll probably get another one now!

And none of the girls have complained when Steve has been accused by members of touching their thighs - so how can you accuse one without the other! Sounds like double standards to me!

None of the girls have looked uncomfortable from Steve touching them - but JJ definitely has looked uncomfortable by Josie's comments and advances. You really do see things through rose-tinted specs!

Christ - I hope not - can't bear the idea of either of them walking away with £100k - neither of them deserve it! JJ will just use it to sit around on his arse for a bit longer - thinking he is better than others that have to work, whilst Josie will probably spend it on food, bleach and perfume!

you are with steve because i remember that time he touched rachels neck and her face was wanting him to stop but didnt want to say anything because she thought he was popular outside.

and john james cant cope being without josie for 5 mniutes thats how much of a pervert josie is.

On your first point - that is just pure speculation on your part - not fact! Rachel was cuddling up to Steve not long after that!

On your second - Mine and other's speculation is that he tolerates it because, as a couple, they get more airtime! It is in his interests to grit his teeth and bear it!

JJJ as you correctly said is the biggest story of this year but the thing is it was the producers who created this storyline in the first place. Before the first wave of new HMs entered the house and told JJJ about BB focusing on the "will they won't they" speculation there was nothing other than a lot of strange stalker activity from Josie. Since then, with the knowledge of what BB were showing they have perpetuated this flat-line fauxmance in order to carry them to the finish. The only palpable development of their relationship since that time being that JJ1 will now say "I love you" at the drop of a hat. It is a storyline designed to appeal primarily to the type of people who spend the most money on phone ins.

None of it is "real" any more anyway. Half of the Housemates are always "actors" or "models" with the sole intention of making a name for themselves that are picked through agencies. It was only a matter of time before the editing itself got a whole lot less real.

What seems to have been overlooked in this censure of BB manipulation is the fact that by perpetuating this fraud upon us, the viewers, they have taken our money by deception in the phone-in evictions. They have already determined who their winners will be, who will be punished for rule breaks, who will not etc etc, so is it just a cynical exploitation of what is seen as the most lucrative market (the tweenies) or, as PEJ has said, merely a soap opera and not a game show, with an agreed storyline (the fauxmance), the protected and favoured players (JJ&J) and the predictable outcome (the chosen winner of BB by the producers, not the public)? If so, we should not be paying for the privilege of being so blatantly ripped off, not just financially, but also in terms of entertainment.

John James and Josie have had their fair share of bad editing... how can you explain nominations today.John James has been up for the last few weeks....today NO-ONE tipped anything over his head... thats not down to editing... perhaps that is because HM's think its a wasted vote cos he JJ1 has been saved so many times... cos the public adore him.

More like they want to avoid the grief he'll give them for the rest of the week, having strutted around this morning mouthing off about finding out who's been nomming him! A veiled threat if ever I heard one.

so if its fake you dont think john james is at least 50% to blame.
