It's definitely a rushed decision, remember that they told sam he would be banned from nominating this week so they obviously didn't plan on putting all the HMs up.

Probably to see where Sam is after the first few hours, if he was 4th then it would of only been a triple eviction but as he is probably 5th they are doing a quad.

A Quad would of been complete and utter legendary and we would all be so on top of the world right now but it's a vote to evict for some idiotic pathetic reason so yeah you're right to be pissed off.

The reason why it isn't vote to save is because the producers don't want to come across as thieving bastard by making you vote to save and then vote to win.
Basically the Joise being safe twist has ****ed them up because the were probably planing on doing a vote to win from yesterday. |

Why not? If you are making a genuine complaint why would you want to remain anonymous? It's not as if they are going to come round to see if you have changed your mind!

I thought Endemol had nothing to do with it apart from getting licensing fees?

So it looks like the input operator who types up Davina's autocue is going to cop for it all.
And she thought she had a nice safe job. PMSL |

From Wikipedia:
History Endemol was founded in 1994 by a merger of television production companies owned by Joop van den Ende and John de Mol, the name deriving from the combination of their surnames. One notable success has been the Big Brother "reality television" show, with versions in many countries after the initial Dutch version. However the most profitable programme for Endemol is Deal or No Deal which has now been sold to over 100 countries. They specialise in inexpensive programming that is appealing to television executives in the modern multi-channel world, and other Endemol programmes in this vein include Changing Rooms, Ready Steady Cook, Ground Force, International King of Sports, Space Cadets, Fear Factor and Wipeout. In 2000, the company was sold to the Spanish telecom and media corporation Telefónica for € 5.5 billion. In November 2005, 25% of Endemol was taken public, and is since then listed on the Euronext Amsterdam exchange under the stock symbol EML. On May 14, 2007 the remaining 75% of Endemol shares has been bought by a consortium, Edam Acquisition, led by Mediaset, the company owned by Silvio Berlusconi's family, and including the investment company Cyrte, whose vast majority of shares is owned by the original co-founder John de Mol.[1] The consortium announced on August 6, 2007, that it now owned 99.54% of Endemol shares, after an offer to buy the remaining shares went through on August 3, 2007; it asked the Euronext bourse for a delisting of Endemo

It still produces Big Brother through one of its production subsidiaries, Remarkable Television. |

Quite, so "an Endemol spokesman" had damn all to say, then.

Ok let me try to explain. C4 have a production meeting months before the show even starts to plan tasks and discuss how the show is to unfold i.e. when and what happens on any particular date. Everything is cleared with Endemol who are the actual production company. They have to do this so that everything runs as smoothly as possible, all the props have to be made for the various tasks so they are ready for when they are required. The house has to be adapted with the correct fixtures and fittings for the tasks i.e. The Tree of Temptation and Davina Macaw for example. Any show that is required to run overtime such as for special events or evictions are planned way in advance so that C4 can plan their programme schedules and taylor them accordingly. In otherwords the whole show is pre-programmed even before it starts, it wouldn't have been an instant decision to have a 4 way eviction this week, it would have been decided at the various production meetings throughout the show. As the show progresses Endemol release press releases so that newspapers are forewarned of what to expect. These press releases are required to be kept as secret as possible but they very rarely are. Once a press release is issued it's usually common knowledge within a few hours and is leaked to various Big Brother websites via forums etc. Endemol are fully aware that's once a press release is issued, it's usually common knowledge within a few hours and therefore have to come clean and announce it officially. That's what happened this week, a press release was issued saying there would be a mass cull of housemates next Friday, and although it was leaked to people in the know, it wasn't made common knowledge until today as Endemol wanted to keep it a secret as long as possible. However once things are out in the open, they then announce it officialy so that websites and forums etc don't steal their thunder, hence no announcement last night but officially announced today. If they could have kept it secret a bit longer then they almost certainly would have done. Phew... does that explain it or are you ?
