Yeah right why didn't they just do it the way they always do when someone doesn't have the visa or right age, they televise them going through the process or at least show something about why they were to leave the programme. Like on Irish popstars when Nadine lied about her age and said she couldn't remember her date her birth

She absolutely does, she's like a little mini me! I thought Cher was a really good though, fair play she didn't exactly pull it out of the bag at the judges houses but she did have tonsillitis!

Katie was a very poor choice because she messed up ALL of her auditions but i think it's time to just let it go...

I personally would have put through Kerri.

I loved kerri too. I was just saying in another thread that katie must know someone high up or something, how she managed to get to the lives shows is just beyond me, infact how she even got as far as bootcamp tbh with all her ***** ups

I hate Rebecca's voice. To me that is not singing, it's putting ridiculous strain on your voice as well as a silly American accent to try and sound like an older woman with soul. She's from Liverpool - she doesn't have soul. I hate the fact that so many contestants feel the need to put this American accent into their singing - it sounds ****ing stupid.

What the hell does the fact she comes from Liverpool have to do with her having soul or not? And plenty of singers sound older than they are when they sing, it's not putting anything on it's just the way they sound.

She's got a fantastic voice and you can still hear her accent imo.

I don't get this 'she had tonsillitis' for goodness sake, okay that would have impeded her voice but it wouldn't stop her 'performing' the song and showing she could remember the words at least.
She only had to sing for barely 2 to 3 minutes,she hadn't lost her voice,she didn't have laryngitis,nothing in Tonsillitis would stop her at least performing the song,allowances could have been made that her voice would not be as strong as usual due to tonsillitis but people make hour long speeches with Tonsillitis.
In a University, any student saying I cant make my presentation today because I have Tonsillitis would be laughed out the room.
It was hardly a taxing song she had, and she could have kept ini the soft area of her voice but still performed the thing.
She stood there and did nothing at all.Therefore failed by herself not due to Tonsillitis.

There is no comparison at all with Jedward and these 2 no hopers. JEDWARD had massive enthusiasm,energy and determination to be noticed, they have a charisma and personality that pulls you to watch them, 'even' if you aren't keen on them.
They took on everything that they were asked/told to do in boot camp, judges house and the 'live' shows.
These 2 girls showed not one single element of all of those things.

Rebecca's a dark horse, I can see her pulling a Alexandra, putting in good performances but largely goes unnoticed until a few weeks before the end. I'd currently say she's my favorite although I'm waiting for the first live show to decide properly.
