Ginger hair is caused by a mutation in the gene responsible for hair. Basically, gingers are mutants. There are less and less gingers every year and eventually there will be no gingers or blonde people since brown/black is dominant and lighter hair is recessive.

Is it just me that doesn't really get all the 'gingers' jokes? Some people can be really cruel. It's no different to racism, really. But just because everyone passes it off as a joke, it's seen as alright to mock them.
