The ONLY one. And you are so correct She most definately was not gifted with an amazing voice. Now.... take a look at Matt and Rebecca..... that's what you call talent, that's what you call an 'amazing voice'. |

I think Cher's performance was good, I want to see her do another performance without the rapping though.

It is quite obvious she is top of the views because more people want to watch her than they do the others. Anyone that has watched because they missed the show last night has more than likely watched the other performances from other acts aswell, and anyone that is watching it more than once because they thought it was crap clearly have something wrong with them.

Many of my student mates look at Chers and Katies and some others but would never vote to keep them in.Most of them are voting for Wagner, unfortunately.Just to spite X Factor and Simon Cowell.

What's your explanation for Cher being top of plays on last fm aswell, Pyramid? I guess they pressed play and then remembered they'd put the kettle on so had to put it on again once they'd made their cup of tea?

![]() Seriously though, the reason Cher gets so many hits on Youtube is because, imho, those who gravitate towards Cher are those who have the time and/or inclination to watch her over, and over, and over, and over again, pausing and taking notes in a vain attempt to find evidence of actual singing ability. Someone earlier in the thread suggested that you 'worship' Cher or leave the thread; therein lies evidence of the mentality I'm talking about. Now, Aiden's, Matt's and Rebecca's fans will revel in the live performance, and, perhaps, watch it back maybe once or twice - but probably on Sky + rather than on a wee Youtube computer screen. Cher's fans probably haven't got charge of the remote ![]() Those Aiden, Matt and Rebecca fans would rather savour the anticipation of their beautifully produced studio albums, rather than indulge in hypnotically repetitive regurgitations of their studio performances. |

I watch performances I don't like over and over, obviously I watch ones I like much more but if I dont watch a performance how can I judge it. Often I find when I watch a performance a few times I get to like it,just as with music, a song may not hit you first time you hear it but after a few plays you may come to like it and even buy it.
Naturally at other times the more you watch or listen to something it turns you off it more. |

Why? Because having a Psychology Degree as well as studying Human Behaviour: I wanted to try to see more in the 'connection' between very competitive judges: and by that I mean, did Cheryl's face/ eyes indicate direct eye to eye contact with Danni, or was it feigned recognition..... there is a lot more to all of this, esp seeing the impact the judges have. Similarly: Cher singing 'Stay' - that was one I watched several time also: simply as I was very familiar with the original version and wanted to see how she sang several more impacting parts of it. |

Now ...that I am happy to accept as being for all the right reasons. Rebecca is a lady. Note the teminology: lady (not chav, not arrogant, not a stroppy, anorexic type, tempermental teenager who is up her own arse) - a lady. this was the lady who said reference the red carpet Premier night, " I felt I was gategrashing". Compare that to a certain little chav known as Cher, who declared, "this is where I belong". No doll... you belong where you are.. in the gutter - get used to it. You'll be back there soon enough. Rebecca is one of the most humbling people on the show who has no idea how wonderful she is vocally. She is an absolute pleasure to watch.

Can you please show where she said that because to my understanding she said nothing of the sort. Maybe YOU should try re-watching what she actually said before getting your facts wrong. Oh and you seem to know her very well to declare her as 'arrogant, stroppy and tempermental' seems you have a very good judge of character after seeing her only 5 minutes tops a week. Get out of your own arse and bother watching her backstage videos and video diaries then judge her.
