I dont really think it's the sort of story that you should take really serious, you should just accept it for what it is and have a laugh at it.

I used to be able to watch it all the time but it's just too boring now really to watch outside of big events. Corrie's terrible at the day to day episodes and it runs out of steam far too much.

For Carla I was thinking it could be connected to the Leanne/Nick storyline.. she's covered up Kasia's death at the factory, but the fire could be an accident like if she was drunk.

I didn't think it was that bad. I love the John/Charlotte storyline, I'm gutted Charlotte's leaving soon, I think she's such a funny character. Can't wait to see the back of Molly though, she's such a selfish woman and she's been able to get away with it for too long. Hope Sally's able to give her a slap before she pops her clogs.

I appreciate that some people don't like John the character or indeed the story. I think if you can see it for what it, you could find it entertaining.

The soaps are on too much and I don't think this helps the cause. We like our soaps to tell it like it is and throw some comedy element in it along the way. All the major soaps are guilty of throwing out OTT story-lines, some work a treat and others fail.

I wasn't a fan of John in a year or so ago and as I didn't take him seriously, I started to enjoy the character and plot-lines much more. Now I am really enjoying this story, because I'm not taking it too seriously.

This serial killer story they have given him is not too far away from the one Eastenders gave Lucas, burying and digging up a body in the front of all the square to see, they just made Lucas more darker with Stape more for the comedy element,

I Believe John Stape is one of those OTT characters, just like Alfie Moon is in Eastenders. Or Carmel McQueen in Hollyoaks. IMO if you can see these for what they are you can enjoy them more.
