I dont get this series to be honest why is it all seeming to be based on newspaper articles this year?! Its peeing me off! Thats why the pathetic katie and wagner are still in. Its supposed to be a singing competition even though we have lost paije and aiden and treyc who can all sing. And gamu but I wont bring that back up. Matt hasnt blown his chances because he can sing. Wagner and katie cant. Therefore if the x factor is still about talent he should defo beat them. But no it doesnt seem to be about talent anymore, just whoever makes the headlines more and makes simon the most money will win. Oh I see its actually a new gameshow in the disguise of x factor! Wow katies playing it well. A prossie gran now. Ooh good tactics

The whole idea with 'X-Factor' is identifying this contest as Singing+X
Not ONLY singing but that certain 'charisma, personality, character' factor that makes Elvis the legend or let Madonna become a pop icon. (neither good singers).
Part of this contest has become not only the on-stage persona, comments with Judges and 'backstage stories' clipped together,
but,
now also expanding into a test of contestants in standard media scandals, gossips and buzz.

Matt has a strange problem here. He is a pure talented excellent singer. For reals.
In fact, he is a better singer than most of the professional singers who guest-star on the show.
Matt is so good that it's considered a 'bad night' when he was 99% flawless but just barely lost one note.

So what does he do here?
The Waissels know how to make up stupid crap for bird-cage liners. Chavr-L knows how to play this.
Simon knows how to make them fight or play out scenarios.

Matt needs something.
So this is what he has.
A public dispute with Wagner ffs!
