We are BOMBARDED with these images and expectations of how great and merry Christmas time should be, how it's all perfect with our wonderful families and friends. Christmas isnt depressing,

People who are alone just hate the fact that everyone else is around families at christmas.

Frankly my favourite part with the family having a good time

For people who are alone it is depressing,how would you feel if you didnt have a family to have a good time with.one third of the population are on their own,
old people, single people,young 16 year old kids chucked out of care homes in lonely bedsits, homeless people who have fallen on hard times,the list goes on

But unfortunately people in those situations are alone all year round, granted Christmas probably is a bit worse though.

I like Christmas. I think it can go a bit overboard with the presents. If you can't afford it though don't get it! It was more fun when I was a child though. Now that I am older and have a job lol then well I just like it when I have a bit of time off. Having a nice Xmas dinner with the family and going to the pub and to sing carols!

I can't wait until I have kids of my own one day. Yes I must remember. A child is for life and not just for Xmas.

I do feel sorry for those people on their own but a part of me feels like.. well a lot of alone people will be on the "same boat". What the hey.. more presents for us if people commit suicide. *jokes*

What if you didnt have a family to have a nice xmas dinner with,what would you do then,perhaps you would learn what its like to be lonly,and wouldent find suicide jokes so funny
