Got a great view here no clouds, can see it just starting to get blocked out at one side.

I'm afraid from past experience it just turns mildly pink

I have mates who take pics. I'll post them tomorrow if they get some good ones

But thats all it is, just a pink tint

It's just the fact of the time it's fallen thats special as it's the winter equinox. Shortest day of the year. It hasn't happened for nearly 400 years so we're the first to be 'here' as it happens

Its hard to see because the moon is bright but when your eyes adjust it looks like the top left is going brownish??

It is very subtle. I just nearly took my eye out with the window blind trying to look

Nooo! I dont want to be the only one here watching this.

Says on the article 'A more significant dimming begins as the moon enters into the darker part of Earth's shadow at 6.32am and becomes completely eclipsed at 7.40am.' Think we should give it more time.
