He's the sort of parent who will can afford the best nannies and schools for his son and will be leaving his child a multi millionaire when he pops his clogs in a few years' time. Seeing as he used a surrogate mother, perhaps he provided the sperm so at least he will be the biological father.

He's just a bored millionaire. Watch him tire of it in a few years.

So basically people only breed out of boredom, not because perhaps they actually have the very human desire to have a child of their own that they can love and nurture? At least he can support any child he has without expecting everyone else to.

Um, no. People usually aren't bored creating a family. But he must be.

He's a millionaire, can buy anything he wishes. And now he's found the ability to buy a baby.

He's 63 by the way.

Now I read he's going on a world tour. So commitment is obviously very high on his list - commitment to his career I mean.

"Baby? What baby? Oh that baby ....

Mmm, bored ... what else can I have .... "

It's all very 'Edina Monsoon' ...

Prove it.

Oh wait. You can't.

Apart from anything, this concerns the surrogate mother, the parents to be and the child - the adults there are at liberty to chose not to disclose any personal information that they wish not to be made public. That's nothing to do with money - but it is everything to do with the laws of privacy.

On a side your posting style is far more annoying.

Yes she is Rich now.
You need to Understand
That Elton Does Not Want a Baby Girl.

He Only wants a Baby Boy.

Thats why it Stinks.
No Baby Girls were looked at.

the only thing I need to understand is that, despite your rather limited conversational abilities or provision of absolute proof on the matter - this is simply nothing more than you saying you don't like it.

As I asked earlier on: are you so passionate about all the thousands upon thousands of abortions that are carried out on female babies - terminated for no other reason than that they are not of male sex?

I bet you don't even bat an eyelid at that, or give that a second thought.

so what. Elton is rich. If he has done what you think he has, if he had several surrogate mothers on the go, you can be as sure as hell that each of them will want for nothing - and that includes any child he may or may not have decided he did not want. They will be well looked after finanacially for the rest of their lives - if what you are digging at,has gone on. If so.... it's hardly like there are any real losers in the whole scenario.

There. You can put your petted lip away now..... all is well.

Strange that the record seem to be stuck as far as Elton is concerned: but you completely shy away from answering my question that I've asked a few times now:

that's a damn sight worse.

As for Elton...

So what???

and???

It's his choice. His. Not yours. His. The End.

Because him and his partner are obviously just rearing him just for the semi incestual threesome down the line like all other gay couples. Oh and it's a status symbol or something. Like cub said. And who would ever doubt cub. He was adopted. He knows what it feels like to have Elton John as your father and all of that, like.

Doesn't Elton have like 20 god kids or something? His money will be stretched when he dies.

Only thing that bothers me about this adoption is, that it's a quite selfish act to adopt a child at the age of 62.
I doubt the kid will have as much play time and activities with his father, like kids with a "normal" age father.
He will probably lose his (one) father at the age of 20.

Of course there is no wrong or right age to get a child, but at that age you should know that it will very likely be a problem for the kid at some point.

Same goes for artificial insemination of women who, by nature, shouldn't get pregnant any more

Isn't David, his husband, quite a lot younger though?

I really don't see that as being an issue at all. Look at the amount of single mothers - and by that, I mean with absent fathers who have nothing at all to do with the child - or couples who divorce with one of the parents having very little to do with the child thereafter - that happens a lot.

There are also many children who lose a parent - through sickness, accident, job related (ie: armed forces).

My parents were mid 40's when they had me

Though they were both dead by the time I was ten......

Not age related though.

Lets face it, any parent in their 20's could be hit by a bus. Good luck to them
