I hate people who can't comprehend that being gay is as much of a choice as having brown hair. My Nan, as much as I love her, says homosexuality is wrong and I've had countless arguments with her about it and she just don't listen. Even when I say to her, "but gay people are born that way (excuse the gaga reference)" and she's all "well they should be celibate" and then I'm like " K but it was God that made them that way in the first place" then she says "God made them gay as a challenge to face in life and to see if they can overcome it" then I'm like "Suuuuuuuuuuuuure -____-".

But to go back on topic I think that those people who are really homophobic are trying to cover their own sexuality but the majority of homophobes are just ignorant bastards who aren't gay. No two ways about it.

I can't really do that to my Nan cause I'm not out to her LOL . She's mega conservative. When my cousin came out as a lesbian my Nan's relationship with her changed. My Nan is quite cold and distant towards her now I've noticed. I never want that to happen so ima just keep my sexuality a secret from her.

It only makes me suspicious because of an experience I had with a guy at school. I wasn't exactly bullied, but he kept on and on about it - the usual evil homophobic stuff - until he got a bit carried away and accused me of wanting to do a certain sexual acts on him which stunned me because I had never even heard of them before. Much later I realised that he had probably been gay himself and his abuse was a way of getting off.

It would be advantageous for "gays" as you call them to all live on one island as it would greatly improve their chances of copping off. The Isle of Wight could be a good idea.
