Exactly. And it's when they complain about the state of the country at the moment which really ticks me off. It's their own doing of bleeding the system dry. The Government are as much to blame for letting them do it. But like you say, there is no incentive to get off your ass and get a job.

I have this really snobbish attitude towards people like that and it really pisses me off. I know I shouldn't but I do look down on them. They make out that they have it hard but it's them who refuse to better themselves so I refuse to be sympathetic.

To be fair I know a load of people that are genuinly stuck on benefit and they would laugh at the idea that it's as easy as working. Fact is it's not. If it is, and like those people you are talking about with all the mod cons, chances are they have their fingers in some other pie like drug dealing.

I have no care for scroungers either but the ones genuinly stuck on the dole will all tell you it sucks. It's not easy. They would rather work.

Dont get me started on the people who come in though the backdoor and have all the freebies and we cant claim a dime. They should cap it like Australia bloody human rights there is a big difference between scratching a itch and acratching it to shreds. I wonder if people from here went through the backdoor elsewhere would they get free house and benefits not on your focking nelle.

I agree there are a few like you quoted but not a lot, but there should be more incentives for them to get of their @rse.

My mate is on income support and wants to get back into work. But he would have to be earning something ridiculous like 2 grand a month just to break even with what hes getting now(rent, council tax, actual fortnightly money, free perscriptions/dental treatment etc)

Noone, or not many, will go back into work, if they are going to be struggling/worse off because of it.

A few but not a lot?

You believe in these times that the amount of people on welfare who genuinly don't want to be amounts to 'not a lot'?

I'm sorry but that's unfounded, frivilous bullshit of the highest order. The scroungers are high in number but still represent the minority. Most people on the dole do not want to be there.

Exactly.

The amount of people getting laid off from work is at a ridiculous high...and then on top of losing their jobs they have to deal with snobs looking down on them for being scroungers...just because of a minority who dont actually want to work

There simply isnt the jobs to go round

You should have also seen a few posts above when I said that people need incentives to get of the dole . Also people on low earning can have tax credits also can have wroking tax credits if no children, times are hard.

I did see that.

I just really really hate when people make out that people on the dole are scroungers. Or even that the majority are scroungers. I've been on the dole myself before and had to deal with people looking down on me because of it. And its pathetic and snobbish to do that tbh.(not directed at you...but of anyone who holds ^^^ opinion)

Not to get all tin foil hat but virtually every other government does the exact same thing just to a less menacing, less obvious effect.

Richter scale?

He didn't have a great mind. He was an idiot. An absoloutely vile human being. He was certainly highly intelligent in his own way but that doesn't automatically equate to having a great mind, IMO.

He was a master of visual identity though. No doubt about that. It's easy to see why so many German adolescents bought into the third reich. They looked cool - no two ways about it.

We've gone way off topic here .

Education sucks, well A levels did anyway. Rather then learn about the subject, from day one you just learned about how to answer the question at an exam..so dull
