I have to admit, according to all evicted housemates, paddy was indeed the funniest friendliest rock like, matey person in the house..pity ch5 never showed any of this in the highlights show because all I had to judge him on was his danny dyer show..maybe ch5 didn't want him as their winner!!

Just come of the phone to someone who was a big fan of Jedward but was put off by their destructive streak and decvided not to vote for them.

I suspect they could have won it, if they had just been a bit "crazy" without the destruction but who knows.

Jedward themselves seem happy enough with 3rd!

I think the problem is all the Jedward fans voted really early and kept voting and then it seems come the day of the final, must have stopped voting because they thought they had won it.

They had a huge backing though on facebook and twitter. I was 100% sure they would win and I ain't even a Jedward fanboy/girl.

Whatever happened the night they were 'reprimanded'..... they didn't quite seem as mental afterwards. Makes me wonder if the tide perhaps turned around that time?

I said days ago ,most of backwards fans are kids,£5 credit on mobiles,Mother got more sense than to allow them to use house phone to vote for the loonies ,Paddy was the "grown-ups"winner

It probably turned when they wrecked the beds and probably pissed a lot of people off. Or even the fakemance which was going on. They got less airtime during that period for 3-4 days which could have cost them.

Yes it was. I think it showed a side of Jedward which people felt went beyond just "a bit annoying".

I only caught a tiny bit of the bed wrecking bit: but the eggs carry on was the bit that I thought they'd gone far too far...... would make sense that people even on the fence, that this would have been enough for them to not vote to save them.

Big Brother still amazes me and the great thing about it is the expected winner rarely happens, like with the year Chantelle won, she wasn't even a celebrity when she went in, she was only pretending to be and she beat all the celebrities in with her.

It's the thing I love with BB, to expect the unexpected, although I hoped for Jedward to win,I have said many times on here odds on favourites often don't.

I am happy with 3rd place for them, I would not be being true if I said I was not disappointed Kerry got 2nd place though but I would imagine things were close.

As to Paddy winning, I have said on here lots,I would not have minded him winning and I felt as the first results were annonced that Paddy could win this, well done to him,a worthy winner and I hope it brings him and his family a lot of happiness knowing he won a public vote that seemed against all the odds at the start.
I am really pleased for him.

Well done to all of them really though,for me it's been a great series and the result hasn't changed that view in any way at all.
