One of them was an 'almost-pick' for Geordie Shore and I'm sure we will find almost all of them have, routinely, been applying for all sorts of parts and characters for years now.

Were any of these people spotted in any auditions? Even seen in later stages?

I agree with the OP.
This BB is about providing platform for the fledgling careers of a bunch of media hungry wannabes, and virtually nothing much else.
One look on youtube and you can find the house mates' showcases. For example- Tashie dressed like a street worker for parts in various music videos, her presenting and also some bad acting, and Maisy (also) as a 'TV presenter'.

And i agree that mark is fake. no one is that stupid/silly/ridiculous. I don't think he's cute or funny (fake or not), everything I've heard come out of his mouth so far has been cringe worthy.

Well no I won't get over it and I will stop watching. I'm less interested and watching less. Even worse, I am associating sponsors with something superficial and contrived.

This isn't 'teaching me a lesson' or somehow helping you. Its bad for you. When they lose viewers then you lose quality.

This really bothers me. They were used for promoting the program. Free advertising and hype. With no realistic chance of participating past that.
