Some fake tan will be gone in a few days. The photos they planned to take would be around to haunt him forever.

Having said that, I do think Alex was a great sport about the tan, even though she was having a bit of a moan about it later. I wouldn't have done it.

Well with respect, Alex was fake tanned 4 times, Harry was expected to do a photo for likely publication in a Gay magazine.

I think there was a great deal more to consider in those 2 requests, irritated though I'd be,I would have certainly done the fake tan process but I would never ever have agreed to compromise myself by doing the photo for a gay mag for whatever purposes.

In fact I wouldn't do any photo for anything unless I knew I and only I had full control over it in those circumstances.
That would never have been possible on BB once it had been seen, I totally support and agree with Harry's decision. In the long run he made a very wise decision and took time to think about it. Well done to him.

Looking at some of the other silly requests, his was by far the most controversial and also possibly in the long run likely most damaging for him too.

I understand his decision and it was certainly a valid one... what WE don't know are what the client base of the businesses are like. He might not be homophobic himself but he may know enough of those clients are that doing such a shoot would have negative repurcussions for as long as he was associated with the buisness.

Personaly I'd have done the task and look at the advantages to the business being seen as open and tolerant to other sexualitys would open up..

Whilst that's a valid point, he did say he wanted to be a gay icon, so I doubt that his client base views on the subject was the reason he refused.

Although I don't think Harry meant it in a bad way it came across as quite homophobic and hypocritical. Of course he was joking in his VT but he still should have done the task, it would have been a laugh and probably would have boosted any future carrier after the house.

I can see your point totally,however celebrities tend to do anything and seemingly have less inhibitions than people in general walks of life.

In the job I do, if the opposition had once posed in their pants, be it in a gay magazine or any other magazine, I would use the picture to ridicule them. Harsh but true. It would be too good an opportunity to miss. If Harry had done the photo shoot, the pictures would have no doubt haunted him forever.

My point is, if you go on BB you are likely to be asked to do ludicrous things and the situation can lead you into revealing plenty of career-destroying aspects of your personality.

Posing for a gay mag seems tame in comparison... in terms of "reputation".

I find rich people to be the tightest people of the lot, and find that people with less are often the most generaous. I have two friends who come from money who've started without any backing or financial help from their parents at all.

Of course you are likely to be asked to do ludicrous things, that doesn't mean you have to say yes all the time, does it ?

He may have been more than happy to have his head shaved, but it wasn't for Tom and that's why he said no.

A lot of what goes on in that house is mind games and BB knows only too well how to get a rise out of most of the housemates.

For what it's worth I would have happily said yes to every question however I would draw the line at the gay magazine, but that's just me.

Harry has shown he is game for most things by sticking with that chicken task right though, how long was it before the first housemate gave up and said sack this ?
