I agree OP, I think he is genuine and it feels like we've seen all sides to him now, at his highest point and at his lowest and I still maintain that he's a fundamentally good person, sure he has his flaws but at least he acknowledges them

Also has anyone bought new magazine this week on here yet?

Apparently (and this came from DS) Jays mum did an interview where she said that he DOES have a record, but he got it covering for his ex-girlfriend...

Just because somebody is genuine doesn't mean they should win. If there was a murderer in there but they were genuine would you still be saying they should win?

Well I dont know if its total speculation, but a few over there were talking about it. And she HAS done an interview recently..

The shop up here doesnt sell magazines either, so i cant even go and slyly read it

googled a bit about him there as couldn't remember and said his dad was in jail and he was booted out the us for being mixed up in gangs but can't see if what record he has

Not sure, but if they did it was probably because they lied on the application form rather than because they actually had a record. Some things wont matter I wouldnt think, minor assaults or whatever. Obviously they wouldnt let a murderer in

I think the x factor kicked someone off for having a record before...

(And thats something else that Jays mum supposedly says in that interview...that he was kicked off the katie price show because he ticked no instead of yes on the criminal record part of his form, because of his dyslexia...which has been sort of backed up by whoever is running the jay mckray twitter account)

I have a record as long as my arm (well not now, but I did before I hit 18, when the majority was wiped )
