True. You can't force people to be gay or come out.

However, Pete Burns on CBBBOTS said he worked with him years ago and he said girls wouldn't buy his records if they thought he was gay. Don't know if anyone remembers? And on pinapple dance studios I've never seen anyone so unbelievable when they talk about fancying women.

Either way he can claim whatever he wants. I've no proof either way and it doesn't really matter.

It might not matter outside of the BB world but for the discussions sake it does matter because a lot of people's arguments against him are that he is fake (i.e. lying about his sexuality) and also based on the idea that he is 'throwing himself' at Michael.

If he isn't gay then at least one and maybe even both of these arguments are invalid.

I believe it is called a 'straw-man' argument.

I just didn't want to come across as forcing something upon him lol. I have no problem with people speculating etc just some people do...just covering my arse (so to speak).

What I meant by that remark of him throwing himself at Michael was more about him trying too hard and what appears to be a really big false laugh. Michael only has to burp and I think Andrew would laugh.

I haven't seen him behave this way with Romeo or any other housemate like I have seen him with Michael, so I can't comment on that one.

No matter what his sexual leanings are, they are his feelings and it really doesn't matter what he is.

He does have talent, he just overstates it rather. He is maybe in some denial as to his sexuality too but I would guess he is at least bisexual,nothing at all wrong with that and good luck to him but I think possibly his own confusion or concern as to his sexuality is what contributes in part to his over inflated ego and pushes people away rather than draws them in.
I'd say he is a decent guy though.

Going by his mannerisms and how he acts, I would say he's gay. Then again what do I (or the rest of us for that matter) know? There's no concrete proof to show he's gay really.

You say that but he swears blind hes straight, and its not like he has a reason to lie, hes in a career where being gay would not be a hinderance (unlike say Gareth) everyone thinks hes gay except him.

Honestly I think hes one of the most unintentionally funny people on telly sometimes.

Yes, but I think he just protests a little too much. He is always going on about being straight, talking about women, ex girlfriends etc.. (& I don't just mean in the house, I mean outside the house in general)... No being gay wouldn't be an issue for him career wise, but I think he has some inner insecurity about it (& many many other things probably) so maybe he can't admit to himself?... Plus there are a lot of stories/rumours about, suggesting that he is indeed very gay...

This, someone else pointed out in another thread that noone says that Gareth must be straight just because he's quite stereotypically masculine so I don't see why the majority of people are refusing to believe that Andrew's straight
