I'm really confused. If you are voted the winner, then you are the most popular housemate(s), by definition.

Even if Americans are using proxys to vote, who cares? Anyone who watches the show, should be allowed to vote on it, regardless of where you are in the world.

I always find it amazing how "holier than thou" some people can get.

Aaron was a worthy winner, and going out to boos was a shame on the audience, not him. He won every vote, and was miles ahead in any polls you could have seen at the time.

If Frankie wins he will be a worthy winner, even though I personally, don't think he's been a good housemate. He's been fairly average.

There are probably only like 10 Americans in the world who watch it anyway so it won't even affect the voting. Like others have said anyone who watches the show should be allowed to vote. I vote on BBUS and I'm from the UK, as far as I'm aware they don't encourage that but I still do it because I'm a fan of the show.

And just to add, I doubt there's anywhere near enough Americans using fake IPs to vote to actually sway the outcome.

Multi voting is what makes the show money. If everyone was only allowed 1 vote each, then there wouldn't be a big brother, as they wouldn't generate enough revenue. You really haven't thought about this have you?

Thank god the forums have taken some control over the votes. 90% of Big Brother viewers are moronic, mindless sheep who have given the show a bad name, who don't understand the value of entertaining housemates, and who'll spout "Fix!" if the twins win tonight. Heck, they've already started with the fix accusations.

And I don't agree with it being hollow; the other housemates have obviously not done enough to convince their fans they deserve hundreds up hundreds of votes, they don't care enough to see their favourite win like the people on the forums do, like the fans of the twins do. And that goes down to that housemate not being good enough, thus not deserving to win. No one's stopping anyone from voting multiple times, any fanbase can do it.

Having said that, I think they'll only make the top three.

Most people who watch Big Brother are common as dirt. A few are fine. It has an additional side audience of hipster douchebags and cultural commentators who enjoy it in some weird post ironic trashy level. I count myself as being one of them and a total wanker to boot. Not common or stupid though. And certainly not elite.
