Im sorry but im not getting excited about it until we get an actual sorce/article instead of a forum member who has no connections to C4

The so-called "live feed" on the Glass House so far has not been live feed at all, it's been live games. It's been horrible. It's NOTHING at all like Big Brother so far.

No articles about on Google News anywhere and as has been said if CBS win this case, there won't be anymore so abc won't be selling the rights to make other versions yet, the OP has made this up.

If this is true, then surely it's bad for Big Brother?

TBH I'd rather ITV or something broadcast it - Channel 4 taking it, are basically bringing back Big Brother and going back on their 'Purely a Commercial Decision.' bollocks.

There's no way ANY broadcaster would go near the Glass House while it's embroiled in a legal battle.

But if it is cleared and it does go global, I wouldn't be surprised if Channel 4 did pick up the rights - they've already tried to rip-off BB once since they axed it with that garbage 'Home For The Holidays' show at Christmas

I hope this is true. If it is C5 have lost one dedicated viewer. Channel 4 use to listen to the fans, not dismiss them and do the complete opposite of what they want.

Can someone explain how they saw or can judge if the glass house is good or not, since it only starts on the 18th of June, so someone is either traveling to the future or something weird is going on!

Glass House is happening right now with livefeeds apparantly. Not sure if anyone can watch it or if you have to be priveledged to get a view of the livefeeds right now. The main tv show launches in 4 days.

I don't think "The Talk" vs "The View" can really compare with what ABC is doing though. The View is just a tv show. Anyone can make a talk show with 4 women on it. No one really has a copyright on talk shows, or talk shows with 4 women.
Big Brother is like a franchised,copyrighted gameshow you have to have the rights for in order to broadcast it in your country. So technically if ABC was found guilty and forced to shut down Glass House it would be for violating CBS usage of the Big Brother brand in the US.I think ;p

How come it aint endemol suing ABC? Surely CBS can't stop them from exporting GH to other countries where they aren't based or in competition with local channels??

cause Endemol is a huge hot mess right now and the US version of Wipeout is on ABC.

ABC can just threaten to cancel Wipeout if Endemol even dares sue anyway

Well, I have good news for those interested in this.

The Lawsuit was thrown out the window.

Still won't be able to hold a finger up to the US version tho. 1 show a week will not really work for a show like this
