When my eating disorder was really bad, and i took loads of tablets and got ill thats when i was genuinely depressed
now im way past the disorder tbh, and im quite happy, just get down from time to time with self esteem its just such an awful thing though!

I am very fortunate not to have felt any real depression in my life so far.
I, like everyone else have 'off' days but I have witnessed people with moderate to severe depression and it's really awful,for them and those connected to them too. No, not really. I had self-esteem issues a few years back but nothing serious or anything (not enough to be considered depression).

Yeah, from when i was 5 till this present day!!
Always had confidence issues, so Kind of Expected. I have my dogs to cheer me up

my old man once told me the only cure he knew for depression was to think of things other than yourself. Thats probably easier when youve left school and away from all the peer pressure, when youre in school the pressure is pretty intense. It forces people to conform and to dwell on their appearance , rather than experiment and explore oneself and the world around them. Peer pressure can be a positive thing in focusing a person on challenges, but it can also be suffocating and has the potential to destroy people too.

Yes, I've had really bad depression for about four years. And it's safe to say it has ruined my life and any chance that I have of making anything of myself.

Luckily nothing has happened in my life worth being depressed about, i think the most depressed i have been is when i am bored
