I had told Shaun privately that I was going to do them on February 25th to coincide with the real Razzie Awards, but I've been rather busy lately so I never got round to doing the voting

If there's still interest in them happening then I'm still interested in running them... despite everything that has gone on

I don't mind being voted and I'll follow it all if they go ahead, but I won't vote. I agree they can be really funny if approached in a light hearted, tongue in cheek manner, but they often become a way for people to be nasty and personal, which I don't like.

..yeah, I agree that some people will maybe have 'an agenda' Lee...I may be wrong but I think maybe they might opt out anyway though..so they wouldn't be able to vote...

I had already launched the opt-out list for the 2012 ceremony before cancelling it (that decision was fuelled by the thread deletions)

Yes, they do, its a crafty way for certain people to circumvent tibb rules (insults) and that is the main objection people have to them. Matt puts a lot of effort in and in theory it should be fun and lighthearted, IF it goes ahead again it needs to be strictly controlled and overseen.

I question the motivation from anyone who wants this to happen so badly, they have obviously already got the knives sharpened. Oh dear me!

For most people it's just a laugh. There are of course a few who use it to insult other forum members. But i think offensive posts aren't allowed anyway.

I think people are either in or out, but liaising with Matt first, to try and form a layer of protection isn't really fair. Either people have free votes or they don't. Matt, I'm sure will just reflect the votes of FM's.

Trying to warn Matt about perceived future injustices is a shameful thing to do.
