I don't think the limit should ever be lowered
Yes obvs some 14 year olds will be mature enough BUT there will be a much less proportion of ready mature 14 year olds, than ready mature 16 years olds. Also it just opens it up to more young girls being manipulated and pressured into sex at an earlier age

Some children do develop faster than others but that is of no consequence, a 15 year old is a child in the eyes of the law. A line has to be drawn somewhere. 15 year olds may think they're all sophisticated and mature but the fact is they're not.

Virtually every 14 year old has gone through puberty. Do you want someone to go around checking if these kids have pubes or something?

At 14 you have not "gone through puberty". Puberty may have started but few adolescents finish developing until their late teens. 14 is far to young to have sex IMO

Also although I think 16 is about right for age of consent it's true that it isn't something that's static, throughout the world it varies and through history it has done in this country, until the late 1800s it was 12. No reason why it won't change again, although I do imagine that'll be someway in the future and dunno if it'll be lowered

Vile pervert. I am glad that they filmed him and uploaded the video, plus passing it onto the relevant authorities as a warning to children about the dangers of the internet and of course their parents to keep more of an eye about what their child is getting up to.
