I'm torn on the contacting his family issue though. On one hand I get how angry you'd be in Locke's position or for him, but then this is just a forum and contacting someone's family could cause serious emotional and psychological problems for the person behind this in real life. I don't know, I'm indifferent about it right now.

I think it's absolutely wrong tbh. This is a forum and I think if you're going to meet up with someone from here it's probably a good idea to speak to that person on the phone atleast first, if not cam with them. Not saying I don't feel bad for Locke because I do, but I think contacting Mikes family members was completely out of order and crossing a line. (Locke didn't do that as far as I know though, just to be clear)

Yeah, you're probably right. Especially about the cam thing now, I don't think people should ever really trust who people say they are unless they've cammed. That doesn't mean you can't like them or they can't be accepted on a forum, I just mean on a deeper level...if it goes further than that.

I am just interested in the motives behind it really, that's all. It'd be great if Mike could give us some kind of an explanation but if his family has been contacted then I can see why he might never want to return again. I don't know, it's a weird one this - I just hope whoever he is he's alright. It's a strange thing to do but there could be serious reasons for it.

The whole thing is just completely messy... but just the fact that this Mike would have Locke pay all of that money to travel down and pay for tickets and stuff..... just beyond heartless.

Locke wasn't the one who contacted the family members as far as I know
