Yes.

We have three large bins (Green, Brown-plastic, Grey-general) and small one for papers.
Our council is very strict. If dustmen found I put item in the wrong bin, they would not empty the bin.

We only have a recyclable bin for paper products like cardboard or newspapers. At the markets, though, there are places to recycle glass bottles, plastics, and tins, and they give you a receipt and some small payments that you can use to buy groceries. Very efficient, if only the machines worked all the time. They break down too often.

Yes I do make sure I recycle things that can be recycled. I put them in the green bin.
