Old people are the worst. They always tut and give me filthy looks if we've not got something in stock or the till freezes.
I just give them the biggest smiles to make them feel like nasty bastards.

No. My Mum is a massively awkward person in shops most of the time, and I'm on the over end of the spectrum. She's overly belligerent, and I'm overly nice so it's a constant embarrassment when she starts causing a fuss over something. I just feel so sorry for the poor person working in the shop, and I don't really think she considers that when she starts ranting. It's annoying.

I remember one time one of the waitresses for the restaurant part of the bar I worked in had a customer complain that his smoked Salman was raw lol, she just apologized and got the chef to cook it One day he'll realize and feel like a right dick haha

My sister is exactly like your mum Niall and it is awful, the most recent thing I can remember was her moaning about a cup of tea I got in a cafe we were in and she said to the waitress "what on earth is that (pointing at my cup of tea) to sit down infront of anyone, did you dip the tea bag into a cup of warm milk?" the waitress kept apologising and brought me fresh stuff, I honestly felt like sliding down the chair and hiding under the table

So no I don't think the customer is always right I think some of them are right awkward horrible twats.

No, I worked as a cashier for a few regret-filled months and I can guarantee that the customers were wrong 100% of the time. Terrible, terrible people. Then again they were mostly fishermen.
