Fair dos, because let's be real - the only way this series is going to expand any further is by adding an online element.

They also need to stop being so misleading in their trailers, I know they need to market their games but no other company is as big a bullsh*tter than these guys.

Idc about an online mode I just want them to go back to the Sims 2 look/feel. Everything about Sims 3 was slow and obese.

Plenty of reasons why Sims Online failed back in the day, they ran before they could walk IMO - where as now, most games ESPECIALLY computer games, feature heavily on multiplayer. So the time is perfect for them to do it.

Maybe I'm just old and stubborn, but I hate when they next gen Sims. Sims 2 players lost all their extra content when the servers were wiped if they didn't hear about it in time, years of investment lost with a "sorry, too bad". I predict the same will happen with Sims 3 content shortly after 4 launches. Problem is, the base game is always crap compared to the previous and its expansions. It takes years for them to catch up to the features lost from the previous gen, and when they finally start to get close, they switch to the next gen instead.

I really wish they'd just give the game a year to play with all the extras intact.

the new editing features for the sims look decent but the house editing looks a bit too easy and less creative now.. not sure i like the cartoony look very much either

I hate how TS4 looks from what we've been shown, especially the UI and the 2D looking world. And there will be no CASt and no Body Shop (they just want to sell their ****ty, buggy store content). I like TS3 well enough but the constant patching and then having to fix whatever EAxis last broke with 3rd party mods ruined it so I usually just stick to TS2. TS4 might be the first Sims game I don't bother with at all. Certainly won't pay $70 for that hot mess, but if they rework things a bit I might consider picking it up on sale sometime down the line.
