To be fair, the purpose of that was to show that Charlie wasn't conniving or bitchy with her comments. She was just naive.

Gina, Jemima and the others still weren't sure about Charlie and were wary of her, Jackie tried to persuade them that she's made genuine mistakes and is naive and isn't purposely offensive.

AS a mother there is no way I would have demeaned my daughter in such a way. It was not her place to disclose anything about Charlie either. I don't like either of them much to be fair LOL. I dont think there would have been a romance between Callum & Charlie, Callum fancies her but Charlie doesnt him but i do think they could have got on really well if Jackie had not have interfered.
When Callum tried to talk to Charlie about getting the friendship back, Jackie was straight in there ensuring they could not have a proper conversation.
Jackie & Charlie have not been true to their vt either.
