I think that for me Dan is like/dislike housemate for me. His deductive reasoning is great however I dislike how cocky he gets sometimes and his relationship with hazel...

I think he'll make the final 5 easily with Sam, sophie, and a combination of dexter/gina/charlie.

LMFAO at this thread. Dan has inspired such envy and jealously it's hilarious. I guess some can't take such a smart HM who is proved right time after time; who is likable, intelligent, good looking and kind - hearted into the bargain. And all this from a gay policeman. Heaven forbid! It's all a bit too much, eh? Bring him DOWN!!!!

The way he took control when the tennis balls were thrown over the fence proves he's arrogant and a control freak-virtually orders everyone not to say anything about them to Hazel just so he can take her aside and tell her HIMSELF seconds later, then makes everyone stand and listen to him while he makes an announcement about what happen between Hazel and Daley.

Dan is assertive... It's a positive trait.
Some seem to prefer aggressive (a very negative trait) housemates, like daley...

Dan is now it seems on here a rotten person because he rushed to protect someone, who you know has had a frightening ordeal but trod on a few toes doing so.

If it was my Cousin or friend in there and I was there, also knew what she had been throught a couple of nights ago, I would have acted to stop a group of people getting to her to put her on the spot too when she wasn't ready.
I agree 100% with you jet.

I find the Dan hate at every little thing unbelievable at times.

I don't care who wins, I hate the show because I think it's biased, or maybe it's just the people watching. I'm pretty sure a bloke'll win so the result makes very little difference because I don't really like any of the men, or the women for that matter so I'm not very interested.

Dan is great and I cant understand why some people still HATE Hazel. She isnt my favourite anymore but she is vulnerable at the moment. Those tears werent fake and since Daley left she didnt want to paint him in a bad light thats why she asked Dan to talk to the housemates. That i feel is dignity compared to what the awful excuse for a man went and said on BBBOTS and to that rag of a paper. He did wrong so oh yeah paint Hazel in a bad light. She was asking for it !!!! Horrible person. Dan has been a true friend to Hazel and I really find his antics funny at times. So what if he asks alot of quesions. How many lines has Sam said in the past 6 episodes??? He is just cruising along in the background with Sophie a very close second.

Well the bottom line is they don't want a gay smart good looking savvy cop to win BB.. because they can't relate to that much perfection.
They prefer someone who they can look down on and bestow their favours upon because they don't feel threatened by them.
In the history of BB is there one winner who is way above average in intelligence, doesn't inspire some kind of pity, or and hasn't had a romance of sorts in the house?
Dan doesn't tick any of the boxes, and he's a gay cop into the bargain. So he doesn't stand a chance. BB viewers are sheeples = sheep/people.
I amuse myself with the Dan hate now. It's quite illuminating to read between the lines - something I am good at, even if I say so myself.

IMO he's the best HM we've had in years. Brilliant. And I say that as a straight married male so I've no ulterior motive whatsoever...

Great post! I agree. I'm not a Hazel fan and she did flirt over the top but in no way did she deserve to be threatened by that awful man, and Dan is right to stick by his friend.

I like him sometimes, but tonight he came across as patronising. I can understand why the others were annoyed. He's still a good housemate though.

Dan hates being wrong. turns his weird crew of hazel. Jackie. and a few others. to bring down Callum. Dan's crew are slowly braking up so that's good.

Not his biggest fan by any means BUT, I actually thought he handled the situation fine for his friend (bitchface)

However, still he acts like a complete control freak and still dislike his narcissistic ways. I'm surprised so many of them are letting it go unnoticed :S HOWEVER I think he's playing the game well.

I go through phases with Dan. One minute I cannot stand him the next I don't mind him. I think he is smart and is playing the game very well and to be honest this is his game to lose.

Me too! He needs to be careful though. His bossy ways are starting to annoy some of the housemates.
