I thought it was said that Dexter had moved on from this triangle and was no longer interested or part of it
From what I saw of him last night he is far from over it at all and seems to wish he was the full centre of attention as to it too.

He worded it terribly but I guess what he was trying to say was that any attraction Charlie might have to Callum would only be physical whereas Dexter has more of an emotional connection with her, something that Charlie has said herself a few times
