But with all due respect do you ever wonder if you're in the wrong place ? I'm afraid you're unlikely to ever find a heart of gold in there with a personailty any more interesting than a small insect. |

I'd be ok with literally anyone else winning, and i find some of them personally unbearable. I've disliked some winners in the past but again, personally. Gina though... What she represents, is just awful. that people would make her their winner is depressing.

Certainly see your point.
As I've said I'm willing to forgive IF I see changed behaviour or some small amount of remorse is shown. tbh I do think a lot of it isn't actually HER being herself and she's just playing to the gallery or what people want her to be like. She can hear the boos each week and she probably thinks the public adore her and just want more. Unfortunately in Hazel's case (or at least on the forums again), she's wrong. And Not helped by her boyfriend adding fuel to the fire either. Though as I've said elsewhere, I do wonder if "Stay away from Hazel" was actually code for "Shut up constantly having a go at Hazel all the time !" it's happened twice already with Rachel Rice and Cameron though and could happen again.

You're right.
Just think people should bear in mind the boring buggers existence is only made possible by the entertaining ones. Without them there wouldn't be any show at all. Just personally, that's gonna sway my vote. Why should Dexter and Gina provide all the entertainment only for Sam to sod off with all the money at the end ? |

Love me or hate me!

She'll be a very strong contender for the win if she does make it through tonight. There are more people that hate Gina now more than hate Hazel for something that happened weeks ago. Dexter has become an absolute bore-fest the last week. He's laying low and avoiding bad situations but this will backfire on him. Unless he perks up and starts playing the game again after tonight, I can see him losing a lot of support. And if Hazel stays, he will be ****ed as he sided with the wrong crowd. |

I feel this series has fell flat on its face, not bothered whether I watch it or not,I am so uninterested in it,having said that from what I have seen,I would like Sam to win as imo he is the only honest decent one left in there. ![]()

Sam will be the worst winner of the show and I'd rather he didn't win, but I'll quickly get over it I guess.

One on one Gina is perfectly capable of being nicer and doesn't seem like a completely horrible person, but she does go against people purely because she thinks it's the popular opinion. Which is in itself a very unpleasant trait. And exactly why her winning would be appalling... It encourages that sort of "playing up to a crowd" and "nastiness to impress". She is basically a real-life troll. |

I essentially don't care all that much who wins any BB series.
As long as the overall series is entertaining for 10 weeks is the most important thing. |

But should we blame Gina or the show ? And is it "real life" ? Gina is unlikeable but how much of it is real remains very questionable. Like it or not I'm sure she knows she's playing the snob, the queen, the bitch, the villain and she's blatantly not holding back by pushing it to the limit. (seen most in the tasks) Like it or not to her credit, at least she's willing to play this controversial "role" instead of sitting on the sidelines. For that she deserve some respect for being willing to stick her neck out. Reality TV looks real so we treat it like it's real. In the heat of the moment we all make quickfire judgements like "poor Charlie is being ganged up on". But then we step back and see it differently when the dust has settled when we remember it's also a (slightly sick !) game-show. Same thing for Gina I say. She's been a panto horse for the cameras from day 1. While I don't condone some of the behaviour, seems to me that's the role she's chosen. What's more worrying for me is how some of her followers (i.e. Charlie, Sophie) just follow her blindly, simply because she's queen bee. Sure Dexter knows the score ! But the others appear unable to question any of it. It's all so easy to get sucked in. I just wish people would remember it's a gameshow and not real life before they throw people to the wolves. (BB included !) In fact if Gina falls like a stack of cards, it will be partly BB own fault. If they whip up a frenzy then they shouldn't be suprised about dealing with the consequences if the script doesn't go according to plan. For all her faults, I'm even starting to feel a little sorry for her already... Reality TV - how real is it ? |
