On the Big Brother opening night
I saw a cute young man
Right then I remember thinking
I will be his biggest fan

Even though he is quite small
He stood out above the rest
I knew I was going to enjoy him
I could tell he was simply the best

Soon the other housemates
Were always on his case
They picked on him relentlessly
Obviously worried he’d win the race

Each night as I settled down to watch
I knew I was in for a treat
Our Dexter never let me down
I knew he was the one to beat

He’d sing and dance, and entertain
And join in every task
He was his lovely, quirky self
Unlike the others never wore a mask

Each week at nominations
Our Dex was always picked on
The housemates were so threatened
They really wanted him gone

They worried how he may be liked
Because he’s jovial and funny
They tried so hard to get him out
They worried he’d win the money

His face always spoke a thousand words
Each time that he was saved
The public cheered and shouted loud
As they joyfully danced and raved

All the other housemates
Tried in vain to beat him down
But we knew our dearest Dexter
Was headed for the crown

As the show is now nearing the end
He’s not giving up his fight
He’s come this far and now we know
He’s there for the final night
